Hey Viewers, I could use your help on a few things. I want to add anything to my post of 100 thing a teen could do besides suicide just comment. I already have 100 but more would be great. Next if you will take my poll and give me an idea of another poll i could put up it would help my blog loads. (well what do you know the follow button is right there by my poll, you can just go ahead and follow my blog while your reading.) Fill Me In

    There are still things I am not sure about relating to my topic. Things such as what is the percentage of male to female suicides? Does the amount of attempts failed connect to the method used? Do we have increasing or decreasing number of suicides due to the involvement of support groups? These questions help me assemble a concrete background for my subject. By knowing the radicals of each gender I know how to appeal to both; by knowing which endeavors were unsuccessful I can discover  why this occurred; plus, by discovering whether support group involvement helps or hurts the situation I can conclude what hotline will do for the situation. I also think about things such as, what kind of effect do the media have on a teen. I want to learn more about the effects a teens home lives, drug use, background, and social lives have on their risk for suicidal attempts or tendencies. I can take it a step further and see if race has any effect on the numbers. I hope to learn as much as I can on the subject to make me an erudite source with a fathom for the topic.

    Myesha, first off I like the vocabulary that you used. Good job, but this is a strong topic to talk about and I feel like because you are so comfortable with telling this that you can inform everyone about this problem. I, personally, would like to know what gender has the most deaths because of all the types of peer pressure there is, something has to go through the certain type of person to actually do it. Thank you for informing me and now I want to know more.

    Myesha, I am so glad that you are blogging about teenage suicide. As DeAntre stated, it is a very sensitive topic: However, it is a growing epidemic among teenagers today. Many of my friends have dealt with this problem before and I will be looking forward to your progress. You have done a great job so far. By the way, thank you so much for your encouraging words about my blog. It gives me inspiration to complete my blog. Good luck with the rest of yours!

    Deantre: yes your right i cna tell you what ever you need to know about suicde, and if i dont know ill look it up for you. males, because they are more likely to go through with suicide and at more dramatic lengths such as gun shots to the head or hanging. girls do more of attempts with things such as pills and arm cuts. the type of pressure varys with each person it depends on a number of things. if you need to know anythig else of have any facts for me let me know. thanks love myesha
